Shri shri Albert Einstein had once said- “Two things are infinite: the universe and human stupidity; and I’m not sure about the universe.” Now I always used to wonder what context he’d said that in.
Till I came across the news of Censor Board cutting James Bond’s kissing scenes in half.
It’s true! According to a report by Rediff, the Indian Censor Board has given Spectre a U/A rating but only after cutting the ‘passionate kisses’ which they thought were ‘too long’.
What the actual fuck! Why would you do that, Censor Board? How do you calculate the ideal time span of a kiss?
And what about all those Emraan Hashmi movies that had those never ending kisses?
Needless to say, the only people happy with this decision are these two right here.
Don’t be surprised if you see the lead actress coming out of the sea like this in the Indian edition of Spectre.
Or maybe, our Censor Board wants James Bond to look a little more desi.
Looks like India hates James Bond. Remember how the Indian Railways had denied permission to Skyfall makers to shoot a train sequence?
Seriously, why do Indian authorities hate James Bond?
Thanks to this absurd decision of theirs, the Censor Board is facing some serious flak.

Perhaps the only good thing that came out this foolhardy decision was #SanskariJamesBond which soon became a top trend on Twitter.

I think the Censor Board should totally change its name to Censor ‘Bored’. The ‘bored’ members seem to have a lot of time in their hands.
