Never Have I Ever is one game that bonds people instantly at awkward parties, because of the sheer honesty involved in it. But Sonam Kapoor doesn’t need any game for that, since she’s known to drop truth bombs in every interview. Her recent interview with Rajeev Masand was no exception, where the actress played Never Have I Ever and spoke about dumping dudes because they weren’t stylish enough and rejecting films because they weren’t paying her enough.
In the interview, she explains why she demands a certain amount for a film, and the logic is pretty solid. “I know I’m deserving of a certain amount because of my market price,” she says, adding, “Whatever is your opening, my solo film openings are always between Rs 3.5 to 4 crore, and that should usually be your… remuneration… That’s how it usually works, because that’s the audience that you’re pulling in.”
