The movie is based on a rare genetic disease called progeria and the main character Auro (played by Amitabh Bachchan) is suffering from the disease.

For his role, Amitabh Bachchan had to get into the character of Auro for which he had to go through a rigorous make-up session daily. It used to take the make-up artists four hours to put on the make up and another two in order to remove it.

This video shows how the artists did the make up from start to finish and believe me, it’s spellbinding! Hats off to Amitabh Bachchan, who at this age, managed to undergo such rigorous sessions and this goes on to prove what kind of dedication and passion he has for cinema. If Amitabh Bachchan could do such a thing at this age, all young actors should take on some inspiration from him as to how to prepare for their movies.

Amitabh Bachchan went on to bag many best actor awards for this movie and a national award topped the list. We can just salute Amitabh Bachchan for such acts and wish he continues to inspire us all in years to come!
